Vessel Arrest Products

Cortland has developed a range of Vessel Arrest Products designed to protect ships, harbors, ports, offshore-platforms, nuclear facilities, and waterside assets from intrusion and attack from high speed marine vessels including jet powered crafts. The systems are scalable to match the local threat assessment and can be deployed quickly to provide temporary protection, or be permanently installed. The systems can be supplied with integrated tamper and cut detection linked into the local security control room.

The Vessel Arrest Boom is a static propeller entanglement device used to protect assets either within harbors and water inlets, or any offshore complex or asset. The Vessel Arrest Fence stops all maritime drive systems and is often deployed in combination with the a Vessel Arrest Boom to add another layer of protection. The Vessel Arrest Launcher combined with the tactical entanglement net aids Coast Guards and other groups to apprehend fast moving crafts.
