Cortland is a specialist in the engineering and manufacturing of textile strength members for medical devices and surgical procedures.
Our expertise in the use of high performance synthetic fibers hails back to the introduction of Kevlar® fiber more than 30 years ago. Cortland remains at the forefront in the use of high performance synthetic fibers and is a proven partner in utilizing these materials technologies into new applications. We work with Dyneema® Purity ®; Cortland is a Preferred Partner to DSM Biomedical. We also work with Vectran ®, Polyester (PET), Polypropylene, Nylon, PTFE and others; providing custom materials, blends or coatings when necessary. We are ISO 9001, ISO 13485 certified, and offer an ISO 8 Clean Room.
